TOPIC: The Covenant Of Fruitfulness

TEXT: Genesis 1:28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

BIBLICAL CHARACTERS:  Sarah – God visit her and gave her a son (Isaac) after a long wait.

MEMORY VERSE:
 Deuteronomy 28:3 - Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

Objective: Help the children understand that God intend every body to be fruitful in their business, careers, studies.

Proofs that we are blessed to be fruitful

1.     First Blessing was for fruitfulness -
Genesis 1:28 - And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

2.     Our bodies are blessed to be productive -
Deuteronomy 28:4 - Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

3.     The works of hands are blessed to be fruitful
Deuteronomy 28:12 - The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
