TEXT: Psalms 103:1 - 5
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Objective: Help the children learn and understand the power of thanksgiving

Why There is Power In Thanksgiving

1. Thanksgiving is a good thing which protect us from harm
   Psalms 92:1 - It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
   
   1Peter 3:13 -  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?.
   
   
2. Thanksgiving Multiplies What We Have
   John 6:1 - 13 – Jesus thank God and five loaves of bread and two small fishes were multiplied to feed five thousand people.
   
   John 6:11- And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

BIBLICAL TRUTH: It is a good thing to give thanks to God – Psalms 92:1

CHALLENGE FACTOR: How often do you thank God for all the good things He has done for you?
